On the eve of the demonetisation declaration by the prime minister, a group of corrupt politicians and their rivals rush in to make scam money on commission for illegally changing the old currency notes into new ones. Businessmen across the city also try to take advantage of the confusion, and in the ensuing chaos, a college student is murdered.
