In a candid revelation, filmmaker Kiran Rao acknowledged unabashedly leveraging her husband Aamir Khan’s star power whenever possible. Rao made this admission during an interaction, stating, “I use him shamelessly.”
Rao, known for her directorial ventures and contributions to the Indian film industry, openly discussed the advantage of having a prominent figure like Khan in her corner. She emphasized her strategic use of Khan’s influence to further her projects and initiatives.
She admitted by saying, “Absolutely it has. I fully use his star power wherever I can. I am like you’re here please stand and give us three pictures. Because we have a small film and I really need to do everything I can to tell people dekhiye 1 March ko ye film aaraha hai hai jo Aamir Khan ne banaya hai. I use him shamelessly.”
Despite her reliance on Khan’s star status, Rao asserted that she maintains her individuality and autonomy as a filmmaker. She highlighted the collaborative nature of their relationship, where both support each other’s endeavors while pursuing their respective passions.
